Around Triglav National Park

Triglav National Park is one of the oldest European Parks and the only National Park in Slovenia. It covers the area of the Eastern Julian Alps. From endless hiking trails, alpine ridges, glacial lakes, abundant World War history to mesmerizing views and traditional culinary, this trekking has it all!

To enjoy the route we will do the loop in five days. First day starting early in the morning from the glacial lake and largest permanent lake in Slovenia, lake Bohinj. Visiting the Krn mountain and in the afternoon arriving at the mountain hut besides lakes. Second day descending to the emerald river, Soča and ascending the highest Slovenian road pass, Vršič. Third day crossing into the heart of Julian Alps and spending the night below Triglav north face. Fourth day climbing  the most difficult part of the route to the Kredarica and descend to Velo polje. Fifth day descending to the valley and returning to where we started the journey with the moments you won’t forget.

From the beginning of May to the end of September we offer guided tours around the Triglav National Park in groups. Departures are every third week of the month.
